The aim of present meta-analysis was to examine the effects of personal, family and schooling factors on academic performance and droppout among Iranian secondary students. The published and archived researches in journals, databases, and printed ones relating to academic achievement and dropout have collected. According to the inclusion criteria, 65 articles included in the analysis. After coding the articles, using Orwin’s method, 98% inter-rater agreement among raters have been gained. The random-effect model of DerSimonien and Laird was used with software. It was revealed that in predicting academic achievement, the average effect sizes for all factors and combination of factors 0.270(95CI%:0.218-0.321, Z=9.801, P<0.001) and for dropout 0.521(95CI%:0.404-0.621, Z=7.580, P<0.001). According to the findings, it was revealed that in academic achievement, personal factors and in dropout, schooling factors play main roles, so it is recommended to pay attention to the personal characteristic of students and constructive interactions among parents with youth and school staff.

The data of the present research was initially collected by using research findings systematic review for the study of the organizational factors effective on teachers’ efficiency and motivation. Then the meta-analysis method was used to respond to questions. The statistical population of this research includes all researches which were conducted inside Iran in the field of factors effective on teachers’ efficiency and motivation between 1996 to 2016. On this basis, the statistical population was identified and relevant data was coded by internet research in internal data banks and also manual search in Tehran universities. Finally, 18 studies were included in the present meta-analysis. To collect the required data meta-analysis, worksheet form was used. Data analysis results show that the size index of studies compound effect was 0.10 under the fixed model and 0.17 under the random model. In the separation study of the size of variables effect, the organization health factors, organizational climate, students’ motivation, director’s attention, and relationship-oriented management style, had the highest effect on the teachers’ efficiency and motivation, respectively. In egger’s regression method, the regression constant was estimated equal to 0.01 which its level of significance is less than 0.05; therefore according to the egger’s regression, publication bias exists. Also, moderating analysis was done for variables of publication year and place of carrying out the research which shows the ineffectiveness of moderating variables of the year of conduction of the research and the place of conduction of the research on the studies’ results.

The purpose of this study was to provide a structural model of the relationship between personality traits, intelligence beliefs and meta-cognitive awareness with test anxiety by mediating the educational self-efficacy in male students. This research was a correlation research and structural equation model. The statistical population consisted of all secondary school students in Bojnourd who were studying in the academic year of 1399- 1395. The multi-stage cluster sampling method was used. The test anxiety questionnaire (Abolghasemi et al., 1996) was designed to measure the variables The questionnaire of intelligence beliefs by Abdolfattah and Yeats (2006), the test anxiety questionnaire (TAI), NEO-FFI, metacognitive awareness scale (Mokhtari and Richard, 2002), Morgan and Jinns's academic self-efficacy scale (1999) used. The results showed that all factor loads of the markers are meaningful on their own variables. Also, all of the direct path coefficients of the exogenous variables including personality traits, intelligence beliefs and metacognitive awareness to academic self-efficacy, and academic self-efficacy to test anxiety were significant at the alpha level of 0.05. In addition, the model could account for more than 58% of academic self-efficacy and 30% of test anxiety changes. Also, the indirect effects of personality traits, metacognitive awareness and intelligence beliefs on test anxiety were significant through academic self-efficacy.
